Contactless Check-In (Click for Turo’s Instructions)
Since we’re completing a contactless check-in, and your reservations starts in less than 24 hours, it is now time to upload the following to trip photos.
The primary driver must be the one to check in and pick up the car.
Mitsu can be picked up, up to 1 hour earlier than Reservation Start Date and Time as long as you have sent the required photos.
Due to insurance, the vehicle will not be released prior to this time frame as the lockbox code will be sent via message 1 hour prior to the reservation start time if the photos have been uploaded.
Required Photos are to be sent no earlier than 24 hours before Reservation Start Date and Time
- A close-up photo of your driver’s license with the first few digits of the license number hidden.
- A selfie of you holding your license next to your face.
You can upload the 2 photos via the upload photo button at the bottom left in the Turo Messages or via the photo upload link on the reservation.
Note: You will receive this in an automated message 24 hours prior to pickup & can complete it at that point.
Retrieving The Key
Once I have the photos the lock code will automatically send 1 hour before the rental is set to start, the physical key to unlock the door is in the lock box.
Remove the key from the lockbox & insert it into the cylinder & turn it once to the right and back, do not press the button on the handle or the alarm will go off.
There is a tab to remove the handle from the lock box on the inside of the lock box.
Once you removed the lock box, the car’s electronic key fob is in a faraday bag in center console, just slide the physical key in to the back of the fob to put it back together. You can leave the lock box in the center console.
